This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin. A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. 神經(jīng)元特異性烯醇化酶（NSE）存在于神經(jīng)元細(xì)胞和神經(jīng)內(nèi)分泌組織中，起源于神經(jīng)內(nèi)分泌細(xì)胞的腫瘤可產(chǎn)生過量的NSE。NSE也是小細(xì)胞肺癌的檢測(cè)指標(biāo)，70％左右的小細(xì)胞肺癌患者血中NSE升高，而其他組織型肺癌NSE升高的患者僅為10％～20％。 |
