Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. 延長蛋白 extensin是存在于植物細(xì)胞壁中的羥脯氨酸(Hyp)占有高比例的糖蛋白。細(xì)胞壁中含達(dá)2—10%,Hyp占構(gòu)成蛋白質(zhì)的氨基酸的20%以上,在其他蛋白質(zhì)中則絲氨酸(Ser)的含量高。由于可以控制植物細(xì)胞的伸展(ex-tersion),故稱為伸展蛋白。在生長旺盛的幼齡期的細(xì)胞中含量少,生長速度遲緩時(shí)含量增加,因而認(rèn)為具有對細(xì)胞壁不易伸展的作用。其蛋白質(zhì)部分具有-ser-Hyp-Hyp-Hyp-Hyp的氨基酸序列,Hyp殘基許多有3—4個(gè)阿拉伯糖所構(gòu)成的寡糖;而Ser殘基許多具有1—2個(gè)半乳糖。脯氨酸羥化是在肽合成后進(jìn)行,催化此過程的肽基脯氨酸羥化酶需要二價(jià)鐵離子,可被鐵離子絡(luò)合劑的a′-dipyridyl 所抑制。肽的脯氨酸羥化后,細(xì)胞器的糖鏈結(jié)合,被分泌到細(xì)胞外,納入細(xì)胞壁中。 |
