保存條件 | Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. |

background: CYP24A1 (cytochrome P450, family 24, subfamily A, polypeptide 1) is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily. It is a mitochondrial enzyme responsible for inactivating vitamin D3 metabolites through the C-24 oxidation pathway. In regulating the level of vitamin D3, CYP24A1 plays a role in calcium homeostasis and the vitamin D endocrine system. CYP24A1 also has a role in maintaining calcium homeostasis. It catalyzes the NADPH-dependent 24-hydroxylation of 25-hydroxyvitamin D(3) in the presence of adrenodoxin and NADPH-adrenodoxin reductase. Function: Has a role in maintaining calcium homeostasis. Catalyzes the NADPH-dependent 24-hydroxylation of calcidiol (25-hydroxyvitamin D(3)) and calcitriol (1-alpha,25-dihydroxyvitamin D(3)). The enzyme can perform up to 6 rounds of hydroxylation of calcitriol leading to calcitroic acid. It also shows 23-hydroxylating activity leading to 1-alpha,25-dihydroxyvitamin D(3)-26,23-lactone as end product. Subcellular Location: Mitochondrion. DISEASE: Hypercalcemia infantile (HCAI) [MIM:143880]: A disorder characterized by abnormally high level of calcium in the blood, failure to thrive, vomiting, dehydration, and nephrocalcinosis. Note=The disease is caused by mutations affecting the gene represented in this entry. Similarity: Belongs to the cytochrome P450 family.
