The encoded protein is likely involved in the termination of the neurotensinergic signal in the central nervous system and in the gastrointestinal tract.[provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010] Function: Hydrolyzes oligopeptides such as neurotensin, bradykinin and dynorphin A.
